Her meteoric rise to fame came in the mid eighties after studies of Fine Art and Printed Textiles at the Glasgow School of Art, where she won two medals, two scholarships, and subsequent Masters of Art degree at the Royal College of Art in London. ********************************************************************* 1983/1987 Pam Hogg showcased in the Fashion Mecca Superstore ‘Hyper Hyper’. A year later she showed her first capsule collection for the catwalk. Its immediate success thrust her into the spotlight determining the Pam Hogg signature collections a magnet for buyers, press, and high profile customers worldwide. ................................................................................... 1988/1999...During continued success with her catwalk shows and internationally acclaimed shop in the heart of London's Soho, Pam Hogg made guest appearances on stage with bands including industrial art noise 'Pig Face'. It was while singing with them on stage in Nashville 1991 that she decided to change course. She had joined her first band 'Rubbish' in 1979 regularly supporting the 'Pogues' in their infancy but her unexpected fashion career had taken precedence. Pam closed her fashion business in 1992 to concentrate on writing and within a year, landing the support act with Debbie Harry, formed new band ‘Doll’ in five days. ................................................................................................................. 2000/2002...Pam designed produced and directed two catwalk collections and her first five minute Fashion Film “Accelerator” starring Anita Pallenberg Patti Palladin and Bobby Gillespie. In 2002 she clinched cameo roles from Daryl Hanna and David Soul for part one of her first movie project............................................................................................ 2003...Formed new band 'Hoggdoll'. ............................................................ 2005/2006...For the projection based Spanish Exhibition 'Switch On The Power' she designed two mini collections, and shot two videos for two Hoggdoll tracks. During the show, Pam was interviewed and announced her imminent return to fashion. In October 2008, the prestigious Fashion store Browns of South Molton St London, were the first to stock the new Hogg-Couture collection. The House of Hogg fashion show back in 1990 in Olympia was the house that stole my fashion show virginity. It was fantastic. She had the best tatoo printed lycra. it rocked and so does Pam! o x Eric
