Biography: The name Hog Hoggidy Hog has been etched deep into the pit-wounds of the South African scene. Formed all the way back in 1995 they have been dubbed by their peers as the South African godfathers of the punk and ska scenes and anywhere they go their reputation precedes them as one of the most formidable live acts in the country. The Hogs are loud, hard and sometimes a bit obnoxious, yet they’re definitely not about to apologize for it. Their musical dexterity combined with infectious humour, upbeat energetic vibe and contagious sing-a-long anthems have endeared them to their ever-growing fan base worldwide. They are proudly independent and have managed to maintain their own identity, sticking it to the man and bucking mainstream trends at every given opportunity and occasionally going out of their way to do so. Presently riding the wake of their critically acclaimed latest release, Method to the Madness, Hog Hoggidy Hog are officially back with a vengeance!
