Hogo

Bio:

Born in 1985/Born in 1985

Hogo is fascinated by musical textures, new technologies, contemporary
science and human’s creations that evolve in standalones. Thus internet,
biologic eco-systems are some of the major influences of the group as well as
Xenakis, Debussy, Fennesz or Oval. Hogo works around the idea of network,
with the max/msp patches connected altogether, sending sound and data to
each other, resulting in a constant ping-pong.
The idea is to have a dynamic network that creates sound events and
surprises, all this monitored live by our hands, in order to give
01011+humanchoices feeling. Hogo doesn’t consider the music material as
something fixed but as something that is constantly renewable and can be
controlled only to a certain extent.

Hogo has a joint project with Jean-Marc Forax.
We create installations consisting of drawings, video and sound.
