About me:
Hokushin Shinoh Ryu was founded by Shinoda Ohho Masa Tsune 1887 - 1976, who mastered Shinto Ryu Bujutsu and Hokushin Itto Ryu Kenjutsu- the latter, renowned to be the second best school of swordsmanship in the Edo period.
Hokushin Shinoh Ryu Iai-Do is currently headed by Grand Master Kimura Hekiho, 9th Dan. This traditional and ancient school of Iai-Do has its Honbu Dojo based in Nagoya city. Hokushin Shinoh Ryu has over two thousand registered members who are all from the central part of Japan.
