Introducing the Beast V
This little project took quite a while, but now she's all done. The finished product eneded up being some 18 layers of various woods and lots of contouring. The active EMG on the bass is monsterous and the dimebucker on the guitar sounds awesome. The floyd rose trem was tricky to install, but completed this beast of an instrument. Some perty little abalone bell knobs really tied everything together. All in all, I'd say it all went very well. My thanks to Shawn Kalista of Suisun Ink !

About me:
My name is Alan Holbrook and this is what I have to say - Of all the things I've made of wood over the decades, guitars take the cake. It makes sense because I love to play, so why not make one? I never saw one in a store that I liked enough to buy, so I went and made one for myself, the way I wanted it! I love the feeling of holding an instrument that was made exatly to my playing style and I would love to make that possible for musicians around the globe. Nature is the only true thing in this world and I like to use that in my work. I am fortunate enough to share life with an extraordinary woman. She is an inspiration and my perverbial gas pedal in our buisiness venture. I hope you like my stuff, and if you don't, so what. Comments and feedback are always welcome.
