About Holding Sand / FULL EP FOR FREE

Formé à Tours en 2007, Holding Sand propose un rock/hardcore moderne et mélodique, fortement influencé par Glassjaw, Hopesfall, ou encore Refused. Rapidement, le groupe enregistre ses premiers titres démo et fait ses premiers pas sur scène.
Le groupe passe à la vitesse supérieure durant l’été 2009 : nouveau batteur et premier EP “Ebb & Flow” enregistré aux côtés de David Potvin (One Way Mirror, Lyzanxia, Phase I, Sexypop…). Il en ressort des chansons au son plus lourd et plus puissant, ouvrant de nouvelles perspectives au quatuor. Après le tournage du clip de « Superman », de nombreux projets ont vu le jour pour la fin 2009/début 2010, dont une tournée dans la France entière jusqu'en mars 2010.

Born in Tours (France) in 2007, Holding Sand delivers a rock/hardcore music both modern and melodic, influenced by Glassjaw, Hopesfall, or Refused. Rapidly the band recorded its first demos and made its first moves on stage.
The band decided to take things up a notch during summer 09: they got a new drummer and their first EP titled "Ebb & Flow", recorded with David Potvin (One Way Mirror, Lyzanxia, Phase I, Sexypop…). Their songs got louder and stronger, giving new perspectives to the band. After the shooting of the music video for "Superman", loads of new projects are on the way, including a tour all over France until March 2010.
