MySpace a place for friends

MY HEART WAS FULL OF SORROW
SO I CLIMBED A MOUNTAIN HIGH.
I LOOKED DOWN ON GOD'S CREATION
THEN THREW MY WORRIES TO THE SKY.
HIGHER AND HIGHER THEY DRIFTED
THROUGH THE ENDLESS SPACE.
I PRAYED GOD WOULD TAKE THEM
THESE PROBLEMS I COULDN'T FACE.
I KNEW HE WOULD GUIDE ME,
IF I PUT MY TRUST IN HIM.
I NEEDED A CLEARER VISION
FOR MY EYES WERE GROWING DIM.
IN THE TRANQUIL MOUNTAIN AIR
I FELT MY WORRIES CEASE
GOD MUST HAVE HEARD MY CRIES
FOR MY HEART WAS FILLED WITH PEACE

In order to learn, you must endure
and learn to see the bigger picture.
In order to grow, you must stand.

Look beyond the hurt, to God's loving
hands that takes what is good
And give what is best.

And on this blessed thought rest, as
your anxious heart with questions wait.
God's hand only gives
what his loving heart dictates.

Friendship is that sheltering tree which covers you
with warmth when you are cold with sorrow,balms
your soul when you are hurt in heart and bandages
with love when you bleed inside.

life can be like a bed of roses –
but we need to be mindful of the thorns.
There are tests in life I know
The thorns are there, but so is the rose !

Even though it’s hard to see through tears that you now cry,
Just know that there will come a day when your tears, He will dry.
And though words alone won’t ease the pain that you now feel,
Just know that in time, your heart, He will heal.

I pray that God will give you peace, and strength in your heart
As He holds you in His arms, and from you, He won’t depart.
May you always be encouraged, may you ever hold on.
And remember, "My child, you're not alone ! "

At times like these it's hard to find the right words to say,
And I know that words alone won't take the pain away.
But, I know a man who sits high, and looks low,
And He is saying, "My child, you're not alone."

He is saying, "I love you and I am concerned about you,
And all the pain and hurt that you are going through."
He is saying, "Lean on me, I will be your comfort through this time.
And although it’s dark now, the sun again will shine."

Your aspiration is your motivation,
your motivation is your belief,
Your Belief is your peace,
your peace is your target,
your target is heaven,
and Life is like hard core torture without it

You tell yourself that one day he'll stop,
He won't give in, no matter how hard you try,
So you sit and you cry,
For how hollow he makes you feel inside,
And you want to explode, to die and float,
In that dreamland the black, where nothing hurts,
And one day you realise that your not alone,
But keep taking the beatings,
And getting more and more,
Hollow inside.
