Life is like a patchwork quilt
And each little patch is a day,
Some patches are rosy, happy and bright,
And Some are dark and gray.
But each little patch as it's fitted in
And sewn to keep it together
Makes a finished block in this life of ours
Filled with sun, and with rainy weather.
So let me work on Life's patchwork quilt
Through the rainy days and the sun—
Trusting that when I have finished my block
The master may say: "Well done."

A Family is a blessing.

The love in our Family
Flows strong and deep.
Leaving us memories

dancing among the clouds,
To know the wonder of a stardust sky
and the wisdom of the man in the moon.

To believe is to know the value of a nurturing heart,
The innocence of a child's eyes
and the beauty of an aging hand,
for it is through their teachings we learn to love.

To believe is to find the strength
and courage that lies within us
When it's time to pick up
the pieces and begin again.

To believe is to know
we are not alone,
That life is a gift
and this is our time to cherish it.

To believe is to know
that wonderful surprises are just
waiting to happen,
And all our hopes and dreams are within reach.
If only we believe.

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness.

I got up early one morning and rushed right into the day.
I had so much to accomplish that I didn't have time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me, and heavier came each task.
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered, You didn't ask," I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak.
I wondered why God didn't show me.
He said, "But you didn't seek.: I tried to come into God's presence.
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided, "My child, you didn't knock.
" I woke up early this morning and paused before enter the day.

I had so much to accomplish that i had to take time to pray.

HEAL THE PAST,LIVE THE PRESENT, AND DREAM THE FUTURE
We can't foresee the turning of the tide
When problems beset us and tears are cried.
Sometimes life deals from the bottom of the deck
Filling us with worry and leaving us a wreck.
The enemy seeks to devour and destroy,
Using deceptions to eliminate our joy.
While walking through the valley,
our heads hung low, ....
The mountain top seems so high,
our footsteps slow.
How many times have we traveled this road
To battle the frustrations of troubles bestowed?
Yet when we come to our darkest hour
God demonstrates His infinite power.
It doesn't matter how bad things might seem,
He always comes through, our faith to redeem.
God will not fail us in our times of pain.
He'll never forsake us, by our side He'll remain.
So when we find ourselves at a total loss
Or when the valley seems too wide to cross,
Just remember you're in His love and care,
Look over your shoulder, He's always there !

When a child is a victim of abuse by a member of their family,
their world has changed forever.
They may have loved their abuser
and the abuser has turned the relationship into something sadistic and cruel.
The victim of abuse is likely to feel very confused.
How can they sort out the feelings of affection that they have for their abuser
with the sick and disgusting act that was done to them.
Feelings that result from abuse should not be buried away.
As painful as it is,
victims must talk about their experience and share their pain with others.
Finding meaning in suffering is the road to healing.
