As a writer, I love to write. I enjoy writing short stories, novels, screenplays, poetry and magazine articles. I've done other types of freelance writing, too. When I'm not writing, I love to cook, travel, read and watch television and movies. I love to play sports and camp and go to music festivals. ..Music
I love pretty much all music, except country and metal. To list all that I like would take forever, but here are some of the top tunes in my CD rotation at the moment: Rihanna, Maroon 5, Umphrey's McGee, Dave Matthews Band, Damien Rice, Ludacris, Eminem, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe...you get the point...Movies
My favorite genres are romantic comedies (which are my favorite to write) and horror movies. I'm a huge fan of zombie movies. But I also love and appreciate all different types. There are only a few movies I've seen in my life and wanted the last two hours of my time back, but doesn't it suck when that happens?Television
I can sit and watch TV for hours. These days, Comedy Central, TBS and the CW are my favorite channels (I love HBO, but had to cancel it). I watch reruns of King of Queens and Sex and the City all the time. I love South Park, Drawn Together, Lil' Bush, Beauty and the Geek and My Boys. As for network, I've really gotten into Heroes and love The Office, My Name is Earl, Family Guy, American Dad and So You Think You Can Dance. Lately, I've been watching What Should You Do? and The Two Coreys.Books
All-time favorite: Their Eyes Were Watching God, by Zora Neale Hurston. Other books I've enjoyed: Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden; Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares; The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks; Eating the Cheshire Cat by Helen Ellis; Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marisha Pessl.Heroes

I'm a writer and a dreamer..a lady who used to live in a city too small for her big ambitions and huge dreams until recently. I moved from the Fort to the 'burbs of Chicago in June 2008. My life has been a whirlwind lately, but I look forward to how things settle. And as I've recently become a mommy to an adorable little kitten, I know I have the love of at least one special guy in my life. :) I'm laidback with a silly streak and a fun sense of humor. My friends would say I'm loud, which is surprising to some because of my small size. Hey, big things come in small packages, like dynamite. I'm about as left as you can get, so conservatives beware.
