I'll keep this simple. I like everything from really bad "B" movies, to "artsy" films. My favorite movies of all time are, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Princess Bride, Dogma, and Young Einstein.
Television
I'm not ashamed to admit this, I am a Law & Order SVU junkie. I also enjoy Family Guy, The Simpsons, Inside The Actors Studio, and I know this may make me a "geek", but I really do love programs on PBS (Nova, Scientific American, Great Performances etc.)
Books
I'll read pretty much anything set down before me. My favorite book of all time though is The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Attwood. I've read everything from Les Miserables, Little Women, the complete works of Shakespeare to modern day "chick" novels.

I am a complete music fanatic. If I am not listening to music, I am playing my guitar and creating my own. I believe silence is death . My taste in music is diverse, to say the least. I listen to everything from disco to "death" metal. The only genre I'm not too keen on is rap.
I am a complete night owl. There is a certain peace of mind that comes only during the hours before dawn and I am addicted to it. I never give up the chance to see the sunrise.
I am very happily married to the love of my life and we welcomed our first child, a daughter Olivia Merced on September 14th, 2007. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. I am only on here to make friends. Please keep that in mind when adding me.

Yeah,I just find it neat that it's the most colorful bruise I've ever had. It's Blue, Purple, green AND Yellow. That plus the sheer fist size of it....all from an itty bitty blade. It's just neat.
