If it's phantom power, and you don't push 48, it definitely won't work. I forget to do that sometimes. This is a condensor mic? They're delicate, maybe it's dead. Try a different mic!
I keep hearing about how the old software and interface aren't compatible with the new computer. That really stinks. So, what do you think, it's the mic? Hey---is this a phantom power mic? Did you push the +48V button?
