In the Fall of 2007, Laviolette began practicing with 3 other musicians from Guelph, Burlington, and Hamilton with the intentions of Rock n' Roll! Calling themselves Richard Laviolette and his Black Lungs, this group of mishaps played their first show to Woodys and No-Fi's at the Albion Hotel in December 2007 as part of a week long Burnt Oak/No-Fi Militant Showcase Showdown extravaganza.
Having since settled on the name, Richard Laviolette and his Hollow Hooves, this band of rowdies plans to record an album this fall. Oh oh...
