Hollowmind’s history dates back to the year of 1993, when Roberto Gutierrez and Alexandre Silveira were together in another band. In the same year, after some gigs and some changes in the line-up, the band adopted its current name. At that time, the band successfully performed several times in the greater São Paulo area (Brazil).
In 1996, Hollowmind was disbanded. However, in the years that followed, while participating in parallel projects, Gutierrez was still dedicating himself to songwriting.
In 2002, Gutierrez managed to re-establish Hollowmind. After some additional line-up changes, Alexandre Silveira rejoined the band. Gutierrez and Silveira got into the studio to record the debut album "Soundscape of Emotions" (Die Hard Records, 2007). After the recording sessions, the current line-up was completed with drummer Felipe Gomes joining the band.
A história do Hollowmind (que significa "mente vazia") se inicia no ano de 1993, quando Roberto Gutierrez e Alexandre Silveira participavam de outra banda. Após alguns shows e mudanças no line-up, a banda adotou o nome atual. Naquela época, a banda realizou diversos shows na região metropolitana de São Paulo.
Em 1996, a banda encerrou suas atividades. Contudo, nos anos seguintes Gutierrez continuou dedicando-se à composição das músicas que hoje fazem parte de Soundscape of Emotions enquanto participava de projetos paralelos.
Em 2002, o vocalista reformou o Hollowmind. Após novas mudanças, Silveira se integraria novamente à banda. A dupla acabou por dar forma final às canções e entrar em estúdio para registrar o álbum de estréia “Soundscape of Emotions”. Ao término das gravações, completou-se a formação atual com a entrada do baterista Felipe Gomes.

I'm writing again for news...: after 3 years of great collaboration with Time, some disagreements have driven me to break up with the band. It has been a difficult decision, but sometimes things can change and we have no choice. Time have been special and precious for me, I have always given all my care to the band and I have really loved to sing with them and all the music we have created, so they will always be a milestone in my musical career. I'm sure that Alessio, Cesare, Enrico and Simone will create something as much magic as we have done together.
Anyway, our passion for Music is still alive! We will always do our best: I'll keep on with "Seven Dark Eyes" and "Hard MAD Acoustic". Ale, Ceci, En and Simo will carry on "Time" and all their side projects.
I want to thank all the friends that always have supported us. Please, follow us in our new bands! Monica ------- Scrivo per darvi una notizia: dopo 3 anni di felice collaborazione con i Time, sono nate alcune divergenze che mi hanno portata ad allontanarmi dalla band. E' stata una decisione difficile e sofferta, ma le cose nella Vita a volte cambiano ed alcune scelte si rendono inevitabili. I Time per me in questi 3 anni sono stati qualcosa di speciale e prezioso, qualcosa in cui ho riversato tutto il mio impegno e la mia passione e resteranno sempre una pietra miliare del mio percorso musicale. Sono sicura che Alessio, Cesare, Enrico e Simone sapranno dar vita a qualcosa di tanto magico quanto quello che abbiamo fatto fino ad ora insieme.
Ognimodo la nostra passione per la Musica non è assolutamente finita! Tutti noi continueremo a dare sempre il massimo: io con i "Seven Dark Eyes" e con gli "Hard MAD Acoustic", mentre Ale, Ceci, En e Simo porteranno avanti i "Time" e tutti i loro side projects.
