Holly Gomez is a singer / songwriter from Bakersfield, but grew up in the small town of Wasco, CA.
When Holly was a little girl, she would sing and write songs, as well as plays, and musicals, performing to all the neighbors, family, and friends.
Her love of music began at a very young age. Growing up listening to a lot of the '60s & '70s music her mother listened to, along with anything else she could get her hands on, from her own generation.
As Holly grew, she continued to develop her love for music and the arts on guitar and piano. During her 7th grade year of school, she began putting music to her own original songs.
Holly continues to evolve musically. Her music is a fusion of various styles of rock, having been influenced by such artists as Tracy Chapman, Bruce Springsteen, and Tori Amos - although it at times it delves into electronic / trance, and hip hop.
Look for her at local venues, radio events, and Theatre.
Holly enjoys working with other artists as well, and supports local music, arts, and culture organizations.
