Greetings and thank you for visiting Matthew Edward Frieberg's official MySpace page. Matt is a full-time actor here in Southern California, who also does some modeling on the side. He is trained and very good with Special Effects make-up, and even dabbles in producing as "I'm always looking for opportunities to invest my efforts in this business." Currently, Matt is in the process of writing his first screenplay and intends to complete the script before he gets deployed overseas around 2010. Matt receieved his degree in Theatre from Cal State - Fullerton in 2004 and is certified in stage combat. In the past year, Matt has appeared in 3 movies, 2 television shows, 4 commercials and classical stage performance. He became a member of the Screen Actors Guild in April 2008. This summer, you will be able to see Matt Frieberg starring along side Titan (Michael O'Hearn) from the "American Gladiators" in a promo commercial for NBC called "All American Summer". Besides the entertainment industry, 1LT Frieberg is a soldier in the California Army National Guard with over 8yrs military experience. He flies the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter for the Army and functions as Lieutenant in charge of a platoon of talented soldiers. "I am very proud of my soldiers and strive to lead them from the front and by good example." Frieberg's military training began as a 19D Cavalry Scout for two years, and consists of the Army helicopter flight school, survival training, certified combatives trainer (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/mixed martial arts), expert rifleman and sharpshooter with the pistol, and much more.
