Hey guys, trying to get ahold of a CD but music stores aren't carrying your stuff!  How do I get one?

Oh and one more thing i know this might sound ridiculos but give away free eps and stuff at shows because a lot of people wont buy your music at first and if you give them free stuff they will listen to it around their friends and their friends will want to get it and everything so then they might buy your stuff and youll get more friends.

Anyways i could probebly go on all day about this but i wont haha

Im pretty new with this i just started talking to bands about helping them out and stuff so i dont have many ideas nor are they any good but whatever, youre canadian right ? i suggest you make an account on www.supernova.com it is good for promotion and you get tons of show opportunitys (depending on your location) when you join. Put posts up on as many bands myspaces as you can go to forums and post links to your myspace. Use your facebook more i notice it has kind of been abandond many more people use facebook than myspace but with facebook youll just get random people  "liking" your page but a lot of people will actually check you out, you can either put your songs on there or put a link to your myspace for people to check you guys out. I dont think a twitter account will help you out much until you get more fans theres no way to really promote yourself on it so its somewhat pointless. You could make an iLike profile, what that will do for you i dont really know not many people use that so yeah i dont know. Become friends with as many bands as possible and always be ready for anything because if theyre playing a show with another band or two and one of the other bands drop out they could call you up and be like hey guys we need you to play a show with us tonight or tomorrow or something like that. Also try out for DisBand if you can get the chance that gets bands so much recognition, Stereos and These Kids Wear Crowns were both signed because of that show. But im thinking the best thing for you right now is to go on more popular bands myspaces, forums, or fansites and post stuff about your band (for you guys i would try bands like AVA, U2, Owl City, etc,).
