Hollywood Trash is an American band lost in LA. They play hard-driving roots rock with plenty of kickass. If the Stones, The Band, and Black Flag formed a supergroup, you'd be about half way to describing the HT sound.
Hollywood Trash has just released a new Promo EP titled "Celebrity Playlist." This four-song record is a distillation of HT's over two sets worth of original material, which they are currently recording in their first studio LP. Plans to tour will follow, as Hollywood Trash continues to pound its stripped-down, edgy rock music into the collective forehead of Southern California.
Hollywood Trash sat around for a long time trying to write a bio, but couldn't come up with anything they liked. So they hired me to come in and give them something snappy. I don't really know anything about writing bios for bands though, I'm more into hour-long dramas. I've got a spec Grey's Anatomy script that is totally ready to go. If my agent would just get off his ass and get it in the right doors, I could finally move out of my studio and pay off my student loans. Anyway, Hollywood Trash plays some kind of rock music. I think there's four of them. I only met the one with all the scruff.
