This time, they are heading south to take on the Dominion Derby Girls April 26.
Hometown fans welcome!

March derby madness!

The DC Rollergirls again have back-to-back home and travel bouts in March.

On Saturday, March 14, home teams Scare Force One and DC DemonCats will face eachother for the second time this season. The 2-1 DemonCats were victorious the last time around, but 1-1 Scare Force is itching for another win.
The Cherry Blossom Bombshells will take on the Boardwalk Brawlers of Shore Points Roller Derby in an expo game.

On Saturday, March 21, the DC All-Stars head to Pennsylvania again, this time to take on the Dutchland Derby Rollers in Lancaster.

You can help support the All-Stars just by going to eat some chili at the Hard Times Cafe in Old Town Alexandria March 26.
Make sure you bring this flier to make sure we get credited with your purchase!

Come see the premiere of the Jason Dove Diaries #10, and episodes 1-9!!

For those not familiar with the Diaries, they are series of short comedy films based on the true life experiences of musician Jason Dove.

I shot and edited the first one with Jason (as well as "The Lost Episode" which was never aired), and he has gone on to produce 9 more on his own! Here's the one I worked on:

I've been specially selected to talk (live!) about my experiences with the Charm City Rollergirls, Video Production, Art, and who knows what else on Umbrella Radio's show, 'The Armchair Philosopher', this Wednesday Night @ 8pm.

Please tune in, the streaming radio station is at www. umbrellaradio. org

Umbrella Radio is a local internet station dedicated to highlighting and showcasing Baltimore's somewhat insular yet
diversely creative artistic and intellectual community, on a grass roots level unfiltered by the mainstream media's crass
commercialization and political interests. (I should get paid to write this stuff!)

From their site:

Umbrella Radio is a community based internet radio station serving the Mill Valley Communities of North Baltimore and the World.

We’re always looking for community based news, events, local original unsigned music, poetry and audio productions to stream on our community radio station.

Enjoy our local original content no matter where in the world you are. Speak Locally Listen Globally TM is not just our trademarked slogan, but our manifesto and guiding principle.
