About me: www.holmesteens.org
My name is Jess, and I am the Teen Specialist at the Library. I have set up this page so that all of the teens who use the library (or SHOULD) can get in touch with me with any questions they may have, and find out about new and exciting books and events at the Holmes County District Public Library...............................
Thanks for your help introducing teens to the first ever MG/YA novel published in real time in a blog format. New episodes of "Giant Girl Rampages" are posted most weekdays, sometimes twice. It's hard to fit in when you're living large!
Thanks for the add! Keep your eyes out for my bestselling fantasy novel, Paraworld Zero. I just found out last night that it's a finalist for the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Yahoo! Have a wonderful day!
Hey! Sorry I haven't been to many of the meetings and stuff lately. Due to some family complications I haven't been able to get to the library. I still want to be on the board and hopefully i'll be able to come to the library again but, do you think you can fill me in on what's happened recently? Please and thanks^^
The College Fair is put on by the Holmes County College Access Program to get students in the area thinking about college and getting information on college-related stuff. It is held every fall and alternates between West Holmes and Hiland High Schools. This year it is scheduled for Monday, October 22 at the Perry Reese Center at Hiland HS from 6:30 - 8 pm. The Library usually participates and this year I will bring info that pertains to HS students looking at colleges - books on scholarships, financial aid, etc. and explaining the resources the library has to offer. The web address for the Holmes County College Access Program is www.ohiocan.org/holmes.
