This is the official Holy Grounds Myspace. The official Holy Grounds website is www.holygroundscafe.com. We are a coffee lounge located smackdab in the main drag of Allendale NJ. You couldn't miss it - there's a big clock in the middle of the road right outside the shop (great landmark!). But if you're directionally challenged (like most of us at Holy Grounds are), just go to the Holy Grounds website listed above and click on the directions menu. If you want more trivia or conversation starters regarding our history, that's also on the website. Our hours currently are:
Sunday: 7pm-10pm, Monday: closed (sorry!), Tuesday through Thursday: 9am-10pm, Friday and Saturday: 9am-12am
Holy Grounds is a "Coffee Lounge" because we have lots of space and comfortable accomodations like couches and easy-chairs. Of course on Fridays and Saturdays, the big attraction is our live music schedule. We hope you'd come out for any of the great musicians/bands we book, but if you want to know who's coming on specific dates, check out the upcoming events sections right below this. During the week however, it's also a great place to kick back and relax after a long-day (We have books, magazines, and various newspapers to help!) It's a great place to take your date to, or hang out with your friends - we have a great selection of board/card games available. If you have a youth group or ministry event, even better - we would love to host you for a night. If you call in advance to let us know you're coming, we can offer group discounts.
Feel free to call with any questions!

As you may or may not already know, in January of 2009, I am embarking on a two month tour with a friend, Al, of the project My Cell Phone Is Better Than Your Cell Phone (http://www.myspace.com/mycellphoneisbetter). This tour will span the entire length of the United States. We are travelling by Greyhound busline. It will begin January 8th in New York and end March 3rd in Michigan. I was going to wait until the entire schedule was completely done, but as people have been procrastinating, I figured now is as good a time as any. The majority of these shows are free, but as we do not have complete control over such things all of the time, specific shows are charged at the door, though they are very few. Regardless, any donations along the way are more than appreciated, as we are doing this completely independently and out of our pockets. We will be busking at various points on the tour, recording all over the place, and have many things for purchase, to help us eat along the way.
You can read much more detailed information, including that of merchandise and many other things, in the top Blog here http://blog.myspace.com/bicyclesighs Please check there, to see if we are coming to a city/state/theatre near you.
I apologise if you already full well know about this tour, or if you aren’t in the United States, as this is a mass comment. Come out to a show, have fun, mope around, get intoxicated and take off your clothes while running into a snow drift. Whatever floats your Winnebago. If you can’t come out to a show, make sure every person you know comes to a show. We might forgive you then. If not, expect a three AM house visit. Thank you.
You can download tracks from Justin McRoberts newest release, Deconstruction for ANY PRICE YOU WANT. Or tell a few friends about the record and get them for FREE!

Professional sound & lighting engineer, Mike Baier, has equipped the custom built stage with automated moving lights, high-powered strobes, lasers and even has implemented new LED lighting technology. The entire lighting system is a fully programmed DMX controlled system which allows for great flexibility to tailor the lighting to any performance. Of course, the sound system parallels the magnitude of the lighting system. For our Battle of the Bands, we are capable of running 32 input channels and 8 returns. The Castle’s in-house sound system is capable of prod
