Seeing people's lives changed. It is our heart's desire to see people who have experienced the Love of God...to take that Love and share it with the masses. As Christians we have mistaken preaching and pointing out sin for the Great Commission. We are interested in doing all we can to "Make Disciples", and we are interested in working with people who want to do the same.Music
Music is a beautiful thing, like anything that God creates...there are two sides to it...the way God intended it to be..and the way man tends to use it. When used God's way regardless of style (i.e. hip hop, rythm & praise, classical, rock, you name it) it can bring Glory to God, healing to wounded hearts and correction and reproof as well. We want to challenge people to put more thought into what they allow access to their Spirit by way of their ear gate. Here is our simple formula...G.I.G.O. (Garbage In = Garbage Out) don't be deceived any longer what you listen to and sing along with is what you agree to and what you grant permission to occur in your life...think about it.Television
As the name implies t.v. tells a vision...and just like our music theory we must be careful or what visions we allow access to our spirit by way of our eye gates...not a matter of religious rules or legalism...just a matter of being wise and using some common sense...as Paul said all things may be permissible...but all are not beneficialBooks
Number one Book of all times...The Bible! Without question this is truly thee most important book in the world because unlike all other religious relics the Bible can change a person's life and within it are the keys to successfully navigating this thing we call life. Many have mistaken it for a book of story and rules...but it is so much more. Many have taken it's words as just religious rituals and that it is not. Think of it as a manual, written by the manufacturer of the Earth and it's inhabitants...or better yet think of it as a 66 book Love Letter that is written to show the Awesome Grace and Love our Father and Creator God has for us...Heroes
Those who are not afraid of the Gospel...who face the scorn and shame of the people around them and bear the weight in the hopes that the people around them might be saved and have eternal life with God. Those who may not stand in high places but they do what they can to help when they can, the people who care for and love the people around them while they are still alive and not reserve their kind words and good deeds for the eulogy. The single parents who strive to raise their children right... the mothers and grandmothers who put in time on their knees praying and holding their families together and the young people who are fearless in the face of danger and risk it all to Lift up the Name of Jesus...these are our heroes

About me:
Holy Ridaz was born more than ten years ago as a comic strip designed to share the gospel with the youth of an inner city Youth Ministry. It was featured weekly in the Youth Ministry Publication. As time went on the Holy Ridaz characters were used to address the issues and concerns that were sometimes overlooked or inapproriate during Youth services. Holy Ridaz has since grown into a ministry to reach our youth and to serve Christians within the Hip Hop culture who for the most part have been misunderstood or neglected by the Christian Community.
Our Mission...
Our Mission at Holy Ridaz is to be a Gateway for Christians within the Hip Hop community providing them with resources to Equip, Enlighten, Edify and Encourage them in their Christian Walk, providing them with articles, devotions, and links to Christian Artist and Ministries.
To present the Good News or Gospel in easy to understand terms without compromising it's integrity...and to reveal to this Generation that the message of Jesus Christ is still relevant today.
It is also the goal of Holy Ridaz to begin to shine some light on some of the major issues facing the Hip Hop Christian and to possibly cause people to begin to talk about and address some of these issues, so that Holy Hip Hop and Christian Music can begin to be used as a more effective tool to Bring Honor and Glory to the Kingdom of Heaven
We realize here at Holy Ridaz that we are all one body, and that just like a body each part has it's own function or role. All of us are not called to do the same things in the same ways. The sooner we come to realize this and stop debating and arguing over style and approach, the sooner we can be about fulfilling the Great Commission. We also realize that some people will refuse to acknowledge this and will behave in ways that don't necessarily reflect the mind, character or personality of Christ...and to that we say...we are still one body...and just as all bodies have different parts for different functions...someone has to be the waste removal orifice [did we say that nicely;)]
