Entre The Doors, Bowie et Radiohead, Home & Dry se forme à Paris en mars 2010 autour des chansons naissantes de Laure Laferrerie. Romain Dowska et Arnaud Dussiau issus du groupe Wysiwyg la rejoignent, très vite suivis de Tristan Coindet. Des atmosphères flamboyantes aux grooves incisifs, le quatuor distille un rock décadent. Éléments du passé et contemporains sont réunis dans une fresque d'où jaillit l'élégance retrouvée des sixties. Les textes, comme autant de scénarios, plongent dans des histoires où se croisent pyromanes endiablés, libertins et femmes fatales. Lancé sur scène dans le club mythique du Bus Palladium, après trois Ep autoproduits le groupe entre en studio pour la réalisation de son premier album en août 2011. Dix-sept jours d'enregistrement à Microbes Studio, le choix d'un matériel analogique rare et des partis pris esthétiques risqués illustrent la volonté du groupe de déjouer les tendances. Résolument électrique, tour à tour poétique, déjanté et sensuel, Home & Dry offre de quoi perdre pieds. Sortie d' un Ep de cinq titres en vinyle en février 2012 et à suivre la suite de l'album ! ................................................................................................................................................................ Rock'n roll soared to high summits in the late 60's with roaring legends like the Beatles' Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and the hype of Woodstock, igniting a fire that continues to burn and gather crowds today. The legend of Rock music transcends generations without aging and Home and Dry establish themselves with freshness and vigour. 'Cut up' is reinstated; a melting pot of words and newspaper cut outs bring contemporary reality to this vintage world. Laure Laferrerie accompanied by Romain Dowska, Arnaud Dussiau and Tristan Coindet are driven by inspirations as varied as they are ambitious which include the Beatles, Bowie and Radiohead, to create a new and unexpected sound. Home and Dry takes center stage and offers the audience an electrifying musical experience. All elements are gathered to create a vintage mood for which the bands home studio is the perfect setting; evoking Brit rock's everlasting spirit.
