About me:
Homebirthers of New York (HoNeY) is a consumer-based group that supports and advocates for a woman’s right to birth at home. Through activism and education, we seek homebirth options in local communities via partnerships between healthcare providers and homebirthers. HoNeY invites women to create a New York in which all mothers can birth in the setting of their choice.

Our official website can be found at: http://homebirthers.org

I am going to have a homebirth for my third child which is due in March and I couldn't be more relieved! I found a midwife willing to travel to my rual home.
I will NEVER birth in a hospital again!

I'm a mum of 4, 2 born at home, 2 in a birth centre before, and I documented my 1st homebirth in a song "Homebirth" which I hope will help to spread the word about homebirth! It's on my MySpace - I hope you enjoy it! Maryen xx

Once I was in Target and I saw a mom breastfeeding in public and I thanked her.

What also scares me about formula is the additives and neurotoxins.
Mama's milk is 100% natural!

Baby Mathilda was welcomed peacefully & gently into her mother's arms in our home on Saturday! She weighs in at 8lbs, 6oz and is 22 inches long. Beautiful homebirth! Can't believe anyone would choose to do it any other way!

That was the fastest response ever! I got APPROVAL for our home birth to be covered 100% by my health insurance! So, don't give up if you want a home birth but are unsure about the cost...

Thanks for the add! I'm a homebirth-after-2-cesareans mom in Geneva, and I know all too well how much honest, sincere support for women's choices in birth are needed here in NY.
