Eve Levine :: Eve Levine (Official Home Buying for Hipsters event coordinator, PR mistress, co-author, producer and creator) is a practitioner of many trades, master of none. At the tender age of 17, she moved to New York City, seeking fame, fortune and an Ivy League education. Eve has enjoyed several careers before real estate, including restaurant and catering chef, junior high school math teacher, telephone salesperson of psychic books, fleamarketer, part-time hippy and standardized test-taker (for money). With Home Buying for Hipsters, she has created a real estate revolution, targeting an underserved and forgotten population, real-estate wise. When she is not brainstorming more ways to help the city’s creative class house themselves, she enjoys teaching herself the drums, drawing, jogging and catching up on listening to bands she was supposed to like in high school. She has a vivid imagination, a rich inner life and a penchant for business-related humor.

Home Buying for Hipsters is on a mission to school our freelance generation of creative "non-traditional wage earners" in the art and business of buying property. We support you in asking, “Hey, what would it take to actually buy this place?” We aim to specifically address your concerns and break down the process into steps you can understand.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to wear a tight Thin Lizzy t-shirt or sport an architectural hair statement to gain access--our classes are free and open to hipsters, non-hipsters, art stars, rock stars, designers, freelancers, sculptors, poets, part-time geniuses, business moguls, cheapskates, high rollers, nerds, players, winners, losers=whoever is ready to own a home!
Who I'd like to meet: Collaborators, restaurant hook-ups, heads of state, secret police, mentors, interns, benefactors, hippies with money, kids with cred, press, people with frequent flyer miles. We'll take anyone who will listen! Oh, and we like musicians, too.
