About me: The Homegrown Cinema Series is a continuing series of Minnesota-produced film. The Twin Cities are home to some of the most passionate and inventive filmmakers in the industry today, with a style and vision that is uniquely mid-western. Many of these filmmakers have intentionally chosen to work outside of the Hollywood system in order to remain true to
this vision, and the Homegrown Cinema Series celebrates their independent spirit.
The films in the lineup are truly local gems, and deserve to reach a wider
audience. The Homegrown Cinema Series will introduce the uninitiated to our flourishing local film community.
