Bio
Homeland started up its engines eleven years ago and took the Midwestern US by storm with a unique mix of progressive rock with a Celtic twist. It was a 'first of its kind' band and quickly build a huge base of loyal fans. Forget what you knew about Homeland. 2009 brought a change in the band's lineup and the band's sound. Homeland is now a 5-piece, adrenaline-fueled Celtic rock show that sets the stage on fire with lightning-fast Scottish reels and driving Irish jigs on the fiddle, Highland pipes, Uilleann pipes, and Irish whistles. The band performs Celtic influenced original instrumentals and songs, edgy interpretations of classic Scottish & Irish songs, and Homeland fan favorites with a new energy that's blowing the tops off festival tents all over the U.S. If you haven't seen Homeland lately, get ready for a white-knuckle ride from the opening tune to last call! .. -
