Joe and Giles are our rhythm section, having been in previous bands together they share a love of hiphop, blues and simplicity. Reindeer is our lyricist providing thought, while Ross provides keyboards, tele guitar and smigins of trumpet.

The Truth came about from a merging of bands and minds. We are a collective that collaborate and mix styles with the need to make good music. We are groove driven, with influences from hiphop, soul, jazz, funk, blues, indie, rock and chill. We want to spread the love through sound with a mix of melodies and thoughtful lyrics, with classical/jazz influenced keys and low down, deep, dub bass lines over trip hop beats.
