About me:
About Höme Sweet Höme:
www.myspace.com/homesweethomeevent
Höme Sweet Höme is a benefit event for Covenant House Toronto. Inspired by musical hero Nikki Sixx’s (bassist for world renowned band – Mötley Crüe) efforts with his charity; Running Wild In The Night – benefiting Covenant Houses across North America, co-organizers Liz Morellato and Vicky Pfeiffer sought out a way to mix rock ‘n’ roll, charity, glam and fun all into one sweet package.
The inaugural fundraiser will take place Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 at Tattoo Rock Parlour (567 Queen Street West-Toronto). Festivities will get underway at 7:00pm, featuring live music, gift bags, door prizes, a silent auction, and rock ‘n’ roll snacks courtesy of our friends at Tattoo. The event will wrap up by 12am…Plenty of time for you to get home to your loved ones. But before you leave, we hope to be able to inform you that we’ve surpassed our goal of raising in excess of $10,000!
Oh….and Crüeheads!! Treat this as your official pre-party, as Crüefest stops in Toronto on Thursday, August 28th at the Molson Amphitheatre!

About Covenant House Toronto:
www.covenanthouse.on.ca
Covenant House assists at risk youth providing them with, quite frankly; everything they need to succeed. We’re all in this together to support this cause …because streets are for cars, not kids!
Covenant House raises 80% of their annual $17.8 M dollar budget through fundraising!
Canada's largest youth shelter, Covenant House Toronto has offered help and hope to more than 50,000 young people since opening in 1982. Covenant House Toronto provides a range of programs to help homeless and runaway youth build independent lives.
About Tattoo Rock Parlour:
www.tattoorockparlour.com
Spacious and edgy with maverick touches, Tattoo Rock Parlour amuses the senses of even the most bona fide rock star. The space marks Toronto’s only LIVE rock n’ roll and DJ venue, equipped with a resident tattoo shop.
Designed by 3rd Uncle; the venue’s identity is largely based on subtle rock n’ rollesque concepts. The tattoo art comes courtesy of Black Line Studios, a tattoo parlour better described as an art gallery. Rotating guest artists are featured on a monthly basis to add spice to the core Black Line team.
Musically, live acts take the stage most nights during the week, and DJ's spinning Rock n’ Roll will fill in the gaps in the rest of the week; the music ranging from Alternative, Rock, Classic Rock and Punk Rock.
The menu ranges from light (salads, crispy calamari) to latino (nachos, oven baked quesadillas) to classic (Chicken wings, foot long hot dog, burgers, Macaroni and cheese, Fish and chips) to heavy (baby back ribs, steamed Mussels, fried chicken, Striploin Steak, Shrimp). Completing the menu is a selection of sweets including cotton candy, root beer floats and hot fudge Sundays.
