Disco-Dance-Pop trifft auf wahre Ska-Funk Exzesse. Home to Paris verbinden Indie, Ska und Pop-Rock, streifen aber auch durch Balkan, Jazz und Funk. Live erlebt man ein regelrechtes Soundfeuerwerk, dem kein Tanzbein lange Stand hält, was auch vom Treiben auf der Bühne herrührt. Derzeit präsentieren die 8 Soundtüftler ihre neue LP „Snow", die jedoch nicht an einen verspäteten Weihnachtsabend erinnert, sondern eher an ein wildes Schneetreiben, das wie eine Lawine über die Ohren brettert. Vorhang auf und Piste frei! Home to Paris bittet zum Tanz! Die Münsteraner Spaß-Brass-Section gründete sich 2004 in einer kleinen Rockformati-on, bestehend aus Schlagzeug, Bass und Gitarre. Doch schon bald war diese Beset-zung dem angestrebten Klangvolumen nicht mehr gewachsen. So wurde nach und nach mit verschiedenen Formationen und Instrumenten experimentiert, um melodische Elemente, Kicks, und energiereiche Sounds zu produzieren. Home to Paris blickt heute auf 3 LP's, eine EP und Auftritte im In- und Ausland zurück, die Zeugnis vom Schaffen der Klangkünstler ablegen. Die Entwicklung von Home to Paris geht derweil weiter. -
