About me: The HoMo Music Show has been a dream of many in the University of Oregon LGBT campus community, but it wasn't until DJ Melanie took the big step of getting the show a slot on KWVA that it came to life. The HoMo Music Show airs every Saturday morning from 4am-6am on KWVA 88.1FM in Eugene, but can be heard anywhere by streaming live from www.kwvaradio.org. The show plays current and classic music by queer and queer-friendly artists. You may hear anything from electronic Cher remixes and lesbian folk ballads, to homo hip hop and trans glam rock.
Who I'd like to meet: Queer music lovers from the LGBT community and its allies. Queer and queer-friendly artists making music for the community, or just because the love making music. People who love all kinds of music made by all kinds of people. People who want a radio show with hosts that talk about news and gossip that is relevant to their life and their community. Or drunk people who are up at 4am on a Saturday listening to two caffine-laden, sleep deprived, 'Mos dish on the latest music and news on a campus radio station.
Lickaotta's it's time to start planning for Lickalotta Fest 09' to be held June 19, 20, 21st .

This year's theme is Lickalotta-PESSIMISM. And, boy! is there a lot of that out there this year. We would love to see ALL the Lickalotta's out there this year showing their support for Camp Lickalotta and licking-a-lotta-of PESSIMISM that weekend.

Arrival time is 3 PM Friday, June 19th and Departure time is 3 PM Sunday, June 21st. The BANDS will be playing Saturday night and vendors will be on hand as well. Vendors that are interested in being part of Lickalotta Fest 09' we encourage you to let us know at camplickalotta@aol.com We will walk you through the process of registration and reserve your vending spot.
Let's get together this year, June 19, 20, 21st and Lickalotta-PESSIMISM together. It will be a fun weekend NO DOUBT!
The cost for the entire weekend is $25 per person. So, whether you are a tenter that wants to make reservations early to get the best tent sites available or you are bringing an RV, by the way there are over 50 RV sites to choose from it it $25 per person. Etowah River Campground has Gated Security, handicapped accessible, washers/dryers, showers/toliets, fire wood available, ice, and tubing.
We will be having a 50/50 drawing with the proceeds going to Camp Lickalotta and one lucky winner. There will also be some free give a ways.

Lickalotta's, it's been a while in the making and we faced many obstacles and have overcome them all! All we need now is YOU! We need you to come out and show us and the bands, and the vendors, and our Cancer Charity that YOU stand behind all of us!!!
We ALL, have busted our butts, changed our schedules, re-arranged, and re-arranged to make sure that we would give you one fabolous weekend May 16-18th, 2008! It's almost here!!
