Straight out of Hampton Bays, Honalee has been rocking out since 2004. Founding members Chris Bickford, Chris Slowey and Dan Ippolito took a two year hiatus to work on getting fucked up... and school. Dan and Chris have been writing music since the sudden breakup in the summer of 2004 and had no hopes of any kind of musical career again. Upon returning from college in 2006, Dan and Chris found Lars in the depths of a hippies basement and came together for a "one night" show at a raging party. Chris Slowey decided to grace everyone with his presence that night with his outstanding vocals and once again Honalee was reborn.
Following the release of Honalee's debut album "Like the Tide" during the summer of 2008, the band once again took an extended break as each member went their separate ways for the winter months. The band was once again reunited for the summer of 2009 to work on writing "K Road Chronicles." This 5 song EP combines the musical influence of each band member and exemplifies the style and sound that is Honalee.
