HONDALADY

Two guy techno-rock unit, HONDALADY, features singer Maru and DJ Die. Led by Maru and formed in 1996, HONDALADY has produced 8 albums, 1 split and 7 singles. Sneaker Mon Amour, released 2010 on Citron Recordings, is their latest work.

Their style is laced with a euphoric mix of Techno, Electro and D’n'B. Maru’s unique lyrical musings invoke a 70’s Japanese Folk Music feel and an unnecessarily-hyper live atmosphere that’s sure to slap a smile on your face for the rest of the night

When they’re not working on HONDALADY tracks, the duo write songs for other artists, DJ in parties around Japan, and produce music for video games. Most recently, their track Philistine was placed in the game “NO MORE HEROES 2” for Nintendo Wii, bringing their music into the spotlight of the US and European game market.

Bottom line, HONDALADY is high-energy, body-shaking, feel-good music- sure to win over the hearts on the dance floor.
