HAI is made up of brothers Ronnie and Will; formed originally as just a collaboration between the 2 brothers' solo electronic projects. With influences ranging from The Medic Droid, Breathe Carolina, Fallout Boy, Mindless Self Indulgence, Minor Threat, Haouken!, Brokencyde, AFI, and 3OH!3. The brothers set out to create a unique blend of Electronica, Hip-Hop, and Punk that would electrify the body as well as the mind. On the surface HAI songs seem to center largely on partying and having fun, but upon a closer look one might see the band hinting (sometimes no so subtly) on subjects such as individuality, drugs and alcohol/destructive lifestyles, rejection, self-loathing, morals/ideologies, and much more. HAI simply just wants to get people moving. The band states, "If people want to look for the bigger picture in our songs, we'll definitely make sure we have the depth to provide them with the opportunity, but if they just want to have some music they can shake their ass to, we'll make sure to give them that as well". HAI hopes to be the next big teeny-bopper craze with their bombastic energy-filled music and sparkling personalities.
