They call us "Rebels from the Redwoods!!!" Honest Mistake is an explosive, diverse, and very energetic band outta the Santa Cruz Mountains. Formerly known as The SC Addicts we are four foul mouthed fools bringin "Thrills from the hills" in Santa Cruz, California. Unlike many of the local bands, we are not chasing the dream. We just like to give our friends a reason to go out to the bars. Influenced by bands like the Misfits, NOFX, Metallica, Bad Religion, and Social Distortion the quarellsome quartet takes a comical approach to music. The group thrives off high energy raw tunes with tons of catchy riffs and melodic leads. Honest Mistake plays a variety of cheezy songs, but the bulk of their set consists of good ole punk-rock and roll! The group formed in the summer of 2004. And ever since, they have been turning heads! Except the neighbors, they turn their heads the other way. And that's fine with us! We don't like their tupperware parties either. DEMO COMING SOON.... .. .. LATEST NEWS: Our good friend Pete has decided to retire the old Big Sticks from HM. We want to thank him for all of his contributions, we truly enjoyed his presence over the past couple of years! .. Now Cody and Brent have moved on as well. Must be Doug's breath or something? Either way we got Shane on drums and we are looking for a bass player.
