honeybird & the birdies is a trio that has been active on the Italian indie-music scene since 2007. Three birds from different places and backgrounds united by a desire to play stimulating music, to enjoy the inspiring energies created by playing together, and create uplifting, inspiring music: honeybird (LA, world music), p-birdie (Catania, indie-rock) and ginobird (Anzio, prog rock). honeybird & the birdies incorporate world music energies with their innovative sound, blending the sweet harmonies of folk, the dynamic drive of indie-rock, the passion of latin american revolutionary songs, and the all-embracing vibrations of the Pachamama.
At the core of the trio is honeybird, a charango-player with a knack for crafting songs stemming from and embracing her sonic adventures and world travels. honeybird has been performing in Italy since 2002, and over the last 2 years in Spain, Israel, Sweden, the US, and Canada. She recently returned from the “honeybird latin america tour”, a one-month tour throughout Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico.
3Eg0bird (Rome/Buenos Aires, VJ) adds the visual dimension to honeybird & the birdies' performances with animated characters – drawn by honeybird – which are brought to life in fairy-tale-like videos crafted alongside the lyrics and mood of each song.

Tre uccellini che nascono in posti e da background differenti uniti dal desiderio di fare una musica esaltante, emozionante, elettrizzante, entusiasmante: honeybird (Los Angeles, world music), p-birdie (Catania, indie-rock) e ginobird (Anzio, progressive rock) i membri di questa eclettica formazione.
honeybird & the birdies combinano le energie della world music con il loro sound innovativo, mescolando le dolci armonie del folk, l'energia dinamica dell'indie-rock, la passione propria delle canzoni rivoluzionarie latino-americane e le onnipresenti vibrazioni della Pachamama.
Al cuore del progetto ci sono honeybird ed il suo charango capaci di generare canzoni che paiono germogliare dalle loro soniche avventure intorno al mondo. Honeybird si esibisce in Italia dal 2002, e negli ultimi due anni ha portato la sua musica in Spagna, Israele, Svezia, Stati Uniti e Canada. E' appena tornata dall' “honeybird latin america tour”, un tour di un mese in Costa Rica, Guatemala, e Messico.
