HONEY CIRCUIT is a dynamic four piece party band playing a mix of tunes that include the best of 80s hits to the biggest Pop-Rock Anthems of all time, covering artists like Gwen Stefani/No Doubt, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, U2, Police, AC/DC, Journey, Def Leppard and Blink 182 to current favorites like the Black Eyed Peas/Fergie, Pink, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
While HONEY CIRCUIT was only formed in 2007, its band members have worked together in several other musical projects and have decades of combined performance experience. Members consist of Christina, Doug, Jack and Chris.
CHRISTINA (Lead Vocals) – Singing and dancing since she learned first learned to walk and talk, Christina has performed in a variety of venues, from musical theater, hosting a TV dance show, and fronting Top 40 bands, to strutting on fashion runways, performing as a back-up dancer for local pop artists, and go-go dancing at hotspots in the East Coast. With a versatile vocal range, she is equally skilled in powering through rock tunes by Guns ‘N Roses or jamming out dance numbers by Fergie. When she’s not gigging, you can find her tearing up dance floors at clubs all over the Bay Area.
DOUG (Guitar/Vocals) – An accomplished singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, Doug has opened for such greats as Dream Theater, Marillion, Spocks Beard, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Eric Johnson, Jason Aldean, to name a few. He’s known locally as one of the energetic members of the late Gigantics, as well as the songwriter/guitarist for Inside/Out recording artists Enchant, whose worldwide success since the mid-nineties has produced 7 studio albums, 1 live record and a live DVD for fans everywhere. Doug prides himself on performing and loves to play music for anybody who will listen. He looks forward to mixing his passion with the already exciting performances that Honey Circuit brings to every gig.
JACK (Bass/Vocals) - With a music-teacher mom and a crypto-jazz pianist dad, it was a sure bet Jack would also be a musician. Beginning his classical training on clarinet and piano at age 8, Jack eventually persuaded his parents to rent him a beat-up P-bass copy, "just for fun". By the time he was a sophomore in college, he was spending more time picking out pop tunes by ear on his bass than practicing his "real" instruments. He has since spent 15+ years playing bass and singing in Bay Area original and cover bands, from 10-person holes-in-the-wall to respected venues like The Catalyst, Slim's, and Gilman Street.
CHRIS (Drums) – Chris started rockin' on stage while still in his mother’s belly, as she played guitar in front of hundreds. When he finally popped out, he relentlessly banged on things, playing drums as soon as he could hold the sticks. At first filling in for gigs while his parents searched for a drummer, he kept out-doing those that auditioned and eventually retained his throne. He played his first paid gig in packed bar in Hollister, CA at the age of 15. Chris is currently a full time drum instructor at the Showcase Music Institute, produces and co-hosts the Bay Area's Makin' Music TV show, and still packs the clubs playing with incredible bands like Honey Circuit.
Honey Circuit is available for private parties, corporate affairs, community festivals, fundraisers, and special occasions like bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries.
