Dec.14.06--- FINAL LADIES PICKED FOR VIDEO
Today we picked the last girls for the video shoot. I must say myself that, they are a couple of top notch selected females. So far the lineup is looking good, I think the video is going to be real nice!... I mean shit, what is a video without bomb ass lookin females in some hot ass designer clothing?!!! Not much if you ask me.. I mean, the lyrics to the song are important, and a banging beat is a requirement, but everybody knows that the ladies are the eye candy...it's my job to top the ladies off in some sexy Honey Matthews pieces..
This is really fuckin exciting!.....and stressful!

My first video shoot! Finally the day has come. It went very well too i might add. Simme came out to assist me with the ladies, however she ended up assisting nearly everyone on set- good thing cuz she needed it! The vibe was very nice! Lydia and Lissa went out to grab some booze for some of us to sip on- good thing cuz it sure made things live! I had the task of dolling up Teezy, Chanel, Bella, Lisa, Rebecca Raye, Amanda May, and Lydia. I deckd them out in some exclusive H.M pieces and they looked tooooo fly! Big apple came thru the buildin too. Lots of people, and a lot of jokes (poor drunk amanda lol)
either way, it was a good shoot- some stressful moments, but none the less a good time. I lovesssss my job!


jan.13.07--- Drake & Trey Songs //Casting call for "Replacement Girl"
No, no, no, I'm not a 'video chick', rather I went to the casting to holla at Drake and Stirling *director*, in regards to styling the beautiful ladies that will be appearing in the upcoming shoot.
while I was there I was actually recognized as *honey matthews* but complete strangers! it was wild cuz I really didnt think anyone knew who I was. I loved that tho- I'm glad people are takin notice of the kid.
now to just wait for a call back in regards to the video....


jan.15.07---juice dvd cover photoshoot feat. rebecca raye//styled by: honey matthews
shoot start time: 11:30pm
shoot end time: 3:00am
Tonight we shot the *cover* of the Juice DVD allstar edition featuring Rebecca Raye as the cover model, styled by Ms. Honey matthews. A simple but sexy shoot at the International academy of design. Was fun!

jan.16.07--- take control vol.2 mixtape, honey matthews edition ft. aristo
Tonight we recorded the "drops" for the mixtape..If you know anything about music, then you know what I'm talkin about. If not, well- drops are basically voice recordings of a person sayin certain things like "www.honeymatthews.com, check it out...." - which is exactly what you need to do!
I spent the night at Hey World Studios chillin with the whole team from *the offense*, R&b singer *the voice*, and producer *fresh kils*. It was a nice vibe being around so many talented individuals- it's the future.

Tonight was the shoot for upcoming female rapper Simme Woodz. I created a brand new and exclusive outfit for her mixtape. The shoot went well! Makeup by: Kam, assistance by: Tiffany -upcoming stylist. photography by: Craigster and holly. It was a fun time, and I can't wait for the end result!!

ok, ok, so im now styling some of the ladies for the video- its for sure for sure this time! thank god the video has a slight delay because its buying me some more time. my goal is to doll-up at least half of the 18-20 females in the video, and trust me, I will do it! everything always seems to work out when it comes to honey matthews. this is exciting!

i need to get out more often! it's kinda fun.....

valentines edition. topic: success in the boardroom, and bedroom. some tips for all of you fellas on what women really want- and why you "gentlemen" have really no clue at all whats really good.



feb.10.07--- fusion III fashion show photoshoot/garment selection @ Minks night club.
start time: 3:30pm
today is the shoot for the upcoming fusionIII fashion show here in toronto, the show is set for end of March- however, they are shooting their print material for the show today! the lounge is too sexy- so this will work perfect with Honey Matthews garments! Lovin it.
