Writing, erotic art (3D computer graphics and photography)
Music
I'm a huge fan of Jim Morrison and The Doors. I think The Doors were the best band to come out of the 60's and I think Morrison should have been given more credit as a writer and a poet, which is what he always said he truly was at heart.
Movies
I love the classic movies from the 1930's and 40's. Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Jean Harlow. Doesn't get much better than that. I don't follow a particular crowd or genre when it comes to movies. I just like what I like. Film noir is great, I love anything vintage and weird. Yes, I love Ed Wood! Okay? I really saw nothing wrong with "Plan 9 From Outer Space" :-) Crazy Jayne Mansfield flicks (I thought she was a great gal), Jerry Lewis in "The Errand Boy" , and some of the great comedies from the 1960's like "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World." "Easy Rider" and wild pics from the 60's like "Gone In 60 Seconds" (best car chase/crash scenes in movie history). As you can see, I haven't listed anything current. Maybe I'm stuck in a time warp, but I also know quality when I see it. Yes, there's still some good stuff out there today, but most of it doesn't grab me. I call them "McMovies" - fast food for the eyes and not worth my time or money.
Television
My tastes are pretty eclectic - I enjoy everything from the History Channel to re-runs of Three's Company. I'm not a snob when it comes to t.v. or movies. I just dig whatever I dig at the time, and don't pay too much attention to the latest thing. Sometimes I just like to escape, switch off my highly over-active mind and watch mindless crap LOL
Books
"My Dark Places" by James Ellroy and anything by Ann Rule (true crime). I prefer non-fiction, biographies (Hollywood scandal!) There's so many authors I love - too numerous to mention here, but top contenders are Truman Capote, Tennessee Williams, Mark Twain, Garrison Keillor, Patricia Cornwell, the Master himself(Edgar Allen Poe), Stephen King, and the list goes on. I can also get into fantasy/sci-fi if it grabs my attention. I'm more into the "old school" horror genre (Dracula, Frankenstein), also time travel tales, supernatural, Twilight zone type stories. Anything related to the occult, astrology and Bermuda Triangle mysteries and writings. I like fantasy, but I also like it to have a twist of the "real" somewhere. And, of course, I enjoy all GOOD erotic literature, whether it's a short story, novel, e-book, or a couple of hot paragraphs! It's difficult to find really good erotica, but when I do, it's worth it!
Heroes
I admire people who don't give up on their dreams, whatever those dreams may be. As a writer, I understand the creative impulse and what it means to keep that alive in the face of opposition. I also greatly admire all those people out there who are the UNSUNG HEROES of society - everyday people who get up in the morning and do the things that make the world run, but they never get any credit. Picking up the garbage, cleaning the toilets, all the stuff that has to be done, otherwise we'd be buried under a mountain of crap! Those are my heroes , and of course, my personal loved ones who gave me the inner strength to go on, no matter what. I also admire people who fight for free speech and stand up for what they believe. Most people don't stand for anything unpopular, and don't have the strength to do it - try it some time, it's not easy.
About me: I'm a writer specializing in erotic, adult material. Several of my stories are posted at Literotica.com under a different screen name.
All of my adult ebooks can be found at A1AdultEbooks
That's my little corner of the world over there.
If there's a particular fetish or fantasy that you're into, drop me a line - I'm always open to writing something using your thoughts and fantasies. I like to know what turns people on and keeps them coming back for more.
The word "erotic" means different things to different people. For some people, it can be about as sexy as a Hallmark romance card, and for others it has to be a lot hotter. It depends on who you are and what you like. My motto is: to each his (or her) own. I also think there's a myth that women only enjoy softcore or romantic erotica, which I don't think is always the case. Perhaps that's politically incorrect, but I believe it's true.
I also write reviews of adult websites for a great site called XXXpwnage.com, which I really enjoy! If there's a site you'd like me to review, let me know. Stop by and visit the site - reviews, interviews and more!
Someday I'd love to write a full-length erotic novel which reflects my personal vision of what such a novel should be. I'm a perfectionist and appreciate perfectionism in others. I always do the best I can with any project and give it my all.
Download a few of my ebooks if one grabs your attention, and let me know how you liked it. I always appreciate feedback and knowing what readers are thinking and feeling.
In addition, I write a monthly column for Top Floor Magazine Online, featuring hot models, feature interviews and editorials
Who I'd like to meet: I'd love to meet author James Ellroy who wrote a fantastic book called "My Dark Places" about the unsolved murder of his mother. He's an incredible writer who does his own thing.
I'd also be interested in meeting Scott Michaels who runs the website Findadeath.com because he definitely has the inside scoop on all the Hollywood dirt!
Thank you. I am a Derrick Pierce fan ;) I see you are a writer. Have you checked out any of Rachel Kramer Bussel's publications? She's on my page. I think you would like her stories. She also writes erotica. Nice to meet you "Honey West." Btw, I loved Ann Francis in that role. LOL. Are you old enough to recall that? I mean, being 100 and all......
As a winter present for everyone, I'm offering a free novella on my website.
