Since June 2002, Honi and her husband Jeff Deaton fulfilled their dream of forming their own band. The band members’ solid commitments to each other as musicians and as friends ignited the band's rapid rise. Their music is not only a representation of what they are, it is who they are to the core. Each member grew up in a musical family, played and sang since childhood, and has the professional experience to bolster the band’s quick success.
Hi, Honi, I'm listening to, "You're the One," and I like it. Would you tell me something? What expression is usually on your face when you sing this? . . . intent, sad, happy, distracted? I couldn't picture it. I know that, when I sing, sometimes I'm 'there,' and sometimes I'm 'somewhere else,' if you know what I mean. Alan
Thanks for the friendship Honi. You have a beautiful bluegrass voice. I wish you a lot of success in your life and music. It's great to have you as a friend. God bless you.
Yeah! No wonder I haven't heard from you! Can't wait to buy the new CD, I've worn the other one out! How you been? I hope you had a beautiful holiday! Take care Honi and good luck with the new CD!!
Hey girlie! How are you? It's almost time for me to become a grandma. It's very exciting. Sam went into labor this last weekend but her cervix was not doing anything. She's frozen at a 2..fun fun. They sent her home on morphine. Contractins were hard and 4 to 5 min apart. Medicine was to help with pain. The stopped after she got the morphine. They won't help induce because she's still two weeks early...anyways love you and I will call when she has the baby...I'll even send pics!
