"Corey managed to get some really great footage, the best of which comes from those unguarded/unscripted campaign moments he captured in all three camps. I won’t divulge the details here, because you really should go see the film." - Beau Anderson (Spazeboy.net)
"It is extraordinarily well-done and absolutely fascinating in its behind the scene glimpses. The interaction between Ned and the media, especially Mark Davis, is not to be missed and should be studied by all future campaigners in Connecticut." - Jon Kantrowitz of MyLeftNutmeg.com
"We all wondered how Corey Boutiller could get such close access to the likes of John Kerry, Chris Dodd, Alan Schlesinger and Lieberman - some people just have that magic touch." - Sue from MyLeftNutmeg.com
"I think it is an important film that all of us who will be working for peace in the 2008 elections need to see." - Aldon Hynes; Blogger
"Footage from events such as Lieberman's staffers attacking and shouting down Ned Lamont's appearance at a senior citizen housing complex will enrage you, and show just how nasty the Lieberman campaign got towards the end. But later in the film, Ned's hopeful optimism for the future if we all take part in the process is very encouraging." - Bob Adams (A.K.A. Connecticut Bob).
"Honk For Peace" follows the 2003 anti-war movement starting in New York City, and culminates with the historic 2006 Senate race between Joe Lieberman, Ned Lamont, and Alan Schlesinger in Connecticut.
In the Democratic primary, Ned Lamont, a political newcomer, ran an anti-war campaign beating Joe Lieberman, the 18 year incumbent and former Vice Presidential nominee. As a result, Joe was forced to run as an Independent in the general election and defend his Pro-war ideals.
"Honk For Peace" is a documentary of those who fought to end a war.

"Oh ye that love mankind! Ye that dare oppose, not only the tyranny, but the tyrant, stand forth! Every spot of the old world is overrun with oppression. Freedom hath been hunted round the globe. Asia and Africa have long expelled her- Europe regards her like a stranger, and England hath given her warning to depart. O! receive the fugitive, and prepare in time an asylum for mankind." -Thomas Paine, 'Common Sense'
Thanks for adding me. ¶ People hear only what they want, so facts alone won't wake them; they need inspiration too. ¶ This world's evils have a common root: Bullies, liars, thieves, & murderers — in market, government, or elsewhere — believe we're all separate, motivated only by self-interest, greed, fear. They want us to share that belief. They use it to justify themselves, to keep us apart, to shape the world's political & economic systems, perpetuating war & poverty. Their power comes not so much from cabals as from incessant propaganda that we hardly notice, implicit in the background assumptions of television & newspapers. ¶ But you & I have found a better light inside ourselves & our friends. It's in everyone, if we can just wake them; we're all one flesh & blood. Let's spread that vision, for until we do our other advances will be minor & temporary. Theists and atheists alike, let us sing of our siblinghood. Peace and communication are one subject, not two, and no one can know that subject perfectly until we all do. ¶ The outcome of the ideological struggle is not yet determined, so no one can afford to be just a spectator. Join the movement, if you haven't already: get involved in whatever way feels right for you. We must all learn from one another; each of us knows only part of the song. Question authority. Keep fighting, loving, hoping, singing. Hand in hand, we may still be able to heal this world. ¶ The flag of the USA, once a symbol of democracy & freedom, has now come to stand for plutocracy, consumerism, imperialism. Small flags are being sold in grocery stores, in anticipation of July 4. I'll wear mine upside down. ¶ Peace, love, hope, revolution. More details on my web page. — Eric

"The only dream worth having is to dream that you will live while you are alive, and die only when you are dead. To love, to be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and vulgar disparity of the life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget." - Arundhati Roy (weroy.org)
