- Gli Honolulu Hula Boys ripropongono un percorso musicale che va dagli anni '20 agli anni '50, periodo in cui la passione per l'esotico invase gli USA.
Il repertorio è composto da brani swing con testi in parte inglesi e in parte hawaiani (hapa haole songs) e da classici del periodo riarrangiati con gli strumenti tipici delle isole.
Oltre a rivelarsi un evento culturale, in quanto parte integrante della storia della musica, lo spettacolo crea un'ottima colonna sonora per rilassanti serate estive, serate a tema e per portare un po' di calore nelle fredde serate invernali.
- The Honolulu Hula Boys take you on a musical journey from the '20s to the '50s, a time when a taste for the exotic was all the rage in the USA.
Their repertoire consists of swing tunes sung both in English and Hawaiian (hapa haole songs), as well as classics of the time arranged for the instruments typical of the islands.
Besides being a cultural eyeopener on an often (and unjustly) overlooked part of our musical heritage, the Boys' show is just the thing for a relaxing summer's eve, theme events, or to heat up those cold long winter nights.
