Honorable Mention is a five-piece Pop/Punk band that formed in February of 2003 at Doane College in Crete, NE. The band is comprised of five of the best looking dudes on the planet............................EVER: Patrick Slane - Vocals, Chris Slane - Bass, Matt Oliver - Rhythm Guitar, Adam Thompson - Lead Guitar, and Riley Pearman on the sticks. Over the last three years Honorable Mention has been melting faces in the Midwest and has hopes of doing the same on a "mini tour" to promote their up and coming debut EP titled "LOWERING THE BAR." With their busy schedules including; working full-time, working on Masters Degrees, and living the married life, the guys have still been managing to play shows for their fans while working on their first EP. Although the road was bumpy and full of 2 - 3 month layoffs, they were able to finish a respectable 8 song record that will be sure to please your ears and hearts. "LOWERING THE BAR"is schduled to be released at the end of 2006 and will be available at their live shows for a minimal price. The guys want to thank everyone for their continued support and for their future growing as a band. Be sure to check out a live Honorable Mention near you, you won't be disappointed.
