I’m going through my friends’ list one
prayer at a time, lifting your needs and that of your family before the throne
of God. Here is a reminder from God’s Word:
“A
new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you,
that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My
disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
To me
this seems an awesome ambition – to love others as Christ loves us. We cannot
do it in our own power, but only as we allow the fountain of His love to bubble
up in our hearts and flow out to those around us. May your fountain overflow
more and more each day as you grow in the certainty of His love for you.
Happy Veterans Day! Dropping by to say hi. Have a wonderful week ahead. Always remember our Veterans: Freedom Isn't Free - All Gave Some; Some Gave All - But, they are Never Forgotten. The song Never Forgotten that I co-wrote with my son Eric Geibel playing on my site explains this thought. Warm regards, your friend & a Navy Vietnam Vet, Bruce
