My intrests!
I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, playing video games, or simply having an enjoyable conversation with someone while drinking a cup of coffee. You may also have noticed I like to cosplay, but I thought that was obvious.
I watch a lot of anime if I can spare the time but I tend to be a work-a-holic and always appear to be at work or headed in.
Music
Basically, I like very little pop and punk. If it's alternative, chances are I'll enjoy it. My favorite band is the Gorillaz, but I also enjoy Depeche Mode quite a bit. I can be found listening to game music and Jpop, or rather, anything that really makes the body move.
Movies
Fight Club, No County for Old Men, Pan's Labyrinth, Nightmare Before Christmas, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Zorro, Hellboy, Aladdin, The Returner, Pulp Fiction, Dawn of the Dead (original), and Last Samurai...oh God the list is endless.
Television
Well, I used to watch House M.D. but after the last season I gave up. Other than that...I enjoy the Venture Brothers and SuperJail (SJ, being a recent addition).
Books
Abarat: Clive Barker, Dean Koontz, J.K. Rowling, Alexander Dumas, Bible, Kazuya Minekura, and various Manga.
Heroes
My Heroes!
I must say this is a lot for someone to live up to, hence the reason these people are fictional characters. My heroes would have to include:
Nny (JtHM) After much consideration I have come to the conclusing that he is my hero. Why? Well, if you know me and Nny's character I am sure you can figure it out.
Yuko (xxxHolic) She is simply the best; so much character. She is always aware of any situation the comes up and always maintains a collective attitude. Drinks freely, has a great fashion sense, and is laid back in her attitude, I adore her character. Out of all of Clamp's most creative characters she is the one I would most desire to be like.
Tohru (Fruits Basket) She is naturally caring and forgiving. Two traits I lack strength in. She looks for the good in everything, and has a strength well above her years.
Who I'd like to meet: Well, hello! Welcome to my Myspace. My name is Dani'elle, but for the sake of the horrible attempts on proper pronunciation most people call me Dee. I'm currently 23 years old, attend college, work regularly, play Xbox live, and enjoy cosplaying with my friends. I have been cosplaying for over 7 years, but I didn't start attending conventions until 2004. In 2004 - 2005 I only made trips to local conventions throughout Florida. In 2006, I finally broke out of the state boundary and made it to other areas of the country. Now, I am looking forward to making this next convention season the best yet.
I adore meeting new people, and more than that, people interested in the same things as me. Mostly, I just enjoy talking to people with a nice cup of coffee and interesting conversation. Work, school, cosplay, games, movies, music, books...especially books, anime, you name the conversation and I'll be more than happy to have it with you. I always love learning new things, and I've found other peoples experiences to be the best way of doing so outside of school. Yesterday afternoon/evening. =D Carlos has been staying in Tampa so we got some shots in Eve then had some din din afterwards. Yea, I feel VERY lucky. He got some amazing shots from what I saw on his camera, I can't wait to see the rest uploaded.
Well duh! The beast man created by the gods to challenge the great king Gilgamesh, but ends up becoming his endeared friend through a matching of strength... Enkidu! Viral is my favorite character, so of course. Plus I love the throwback to Mesopotamian mythology :p
