I wish I could be positive about the ETS bill but it ain’t nearly enough even if it is passed. The IPCC scientists are observing a warming at much faster rate than predicted. The arctic will be gone by 2030 at this rate not 2100 like predicted. Sea level will rise by 2-5m which will kill half the world’s population at least. We’re fucked not just in our lifetime but our parents also. Politicians, even if they understand the science they are just a mirror to the stupid, uneducated public – they are just buying votes. The media are worse because they don’t even understand it, there’s no way you can get across complex issues in 5 minute grabs. Then the lefty wankers muddy it even more by turning it into a frickin blind faith religious issue for their puritanical masses to follow.

A blog I came across was looking for new rocky music (not the indie rock that seems to be big right now). I dropped them your name because History's End in still going through my brain. I know I already gushed but...can't help it. Let me know if you want to be featured on WCCL. Hope all is well.
Sunday 4th October, The Woohoo Revue (Melb), The FRONT GALLERY, 7:30-11pm, $15, genre: Gypsy-Rock.
Melbourne gypsy band, The Woohoo Revue is touring NSW and will be putting on a gypsy rock spectacle at The Front Gallery on Sun 4th October.
People lucky enough to have seen the band’s previous A.C.T. shows will know that this will be a fantastic performance. Expect a big, brassy and outrageously tight set. The Woohoo Revue play music for celebration- for drinking, dancing and forgetting about tomorrow. This is a band that has been seemingly transported from inside a big top. Whilst no dancing bears feature in the show, the group dresses sharp and the playing is even sharper.
