We have tried to build the ultimate neighborhood record store. It is always a work in progress, but we are pretty darn proud of the way it looks today.
Music
Our new store stocks a diverse range of new and used CDs and vinyl, and deeper catalog in our areas of specialty, including more classic albums (you know, the way the artist intended to present the art).
Genre-wise - that means more jazz, blues, and world music. It also means more soul and funk.
MORE RECORDS. We have been carrying vinyl for a while, but now we have enough space to expand, we have added used records to the mix... and a lot of them.
Last but not least, we have a lot more used product. Used product is best for us; best for you.

Movies
We have more movies in general. More classic movies. More awesome music DVDs. More Criterion. Best of all - a lot more used product. Our Featured DVD Page will give you an idea of what we mean.
We have divided the movies into genre/sections, so our customers can browse for the type of movie they are in the mood to watch.
Television
You want TV on DVD? We have a large section of new and used DVDs. If we don't have it - we will get it for you quicker than anyone in town.
Books
Since we are going to be next to Changing Hands Bookstore, we will refer you to them.

About me: We are located right between Changing Hands and Trader Joe's (SW Corner of Guadalupe and McClintock) - and we would love to buy, sell, trade, and talk music and movies with you.
Hoodlums is an independently owned and operated record store that has operated since 1998.
We carry new and used vinyl, CD, and DVD. We also have lot of toys, limited edition posters, pop culture art, games, headphones, personal electronics, incense and lots of other stuff.
We have tickets to shows once in a while too... but only for cool, little, non-Ticketbastard kinds of shows. Please see our website for a list of tickets.

I'm really glad you guys re-opened. I think I spent more of my time in your store than I did in class when I was going for my BA. I'll be there next weekend.
