Hello Myspace, My name is Hassan Haze and I am a film director, hip-hop artist and the host of Hood News.



Hood News is the news behind the mainstream media focusing on issues directly relating to people of color. The concept derived from a lack of truth and trust from major outlets such as ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, CNN, KCAL, KTLA, MSNBC etc.

Family it is vital we control the images that are coming into our homes, minds and beings. We have been infiltrated, broken down and are being destroyed. The culture has transgressed since the '60s. Before we were strong self-reliant people that thrived. After the assassination of our leaders and the self corrupting spirit of narcotics, we have landed where we are today. It is time to be accountable for our actions. Hood News is leading that fight.

The conscious monster in Hassan Haze is known as "Hood Blues" or simply Haze. Hood Blues simply means the cross roads of choosing life or death. The music stems from living on hells edge also the title of my forth coming album. Here is the first single "Hustling" produced by Dr. Dre and Aaron. Song is available on Itunes. My music roots run very deep. Below is a documentary titled "A Classic 48: The Story of The Union". This film is about a group of musicians who banded in the US Army and had regional success throughout Texas. The group took their act to Los Angeles and disbanded after three years. Seven years later the group met up in Philadelphia for 48 hours to record the classic project "A Classic 48". Introducing Alison, Mello, Monnie Mon, StickaBush, Last Page, Jagged and Haze or The Union.
