Who the hell are Hoodoo Fifties I hear you scream! Well they are a brand new band formed from the ashes of faded dreams, a collaboration in admiration and a fantasists wet dream. Put simply they are an Indie Band, cobbled together by overtly sexual beasts of the night, playing their stringed tools with skill and passion. Their songs neatly crafted through bizarre rhetoric and keen observation, produced by a wizard to create a tasty Indie Pop soup as catchy as a knobbled stick.
Sounds too good to be true I know, but such dreamy pleasures do await you upon introduction to this group of cunning songsmiths. The world has seen so many breakthrough acts, but in such a world does the Indie Pop band ever fade? I think not, and here we see a band shining brightly, filling the lives of those involved with love and heartfelt genius. I write this through tears of joy at the brighter future that awaits us all when Hoodoo Fifties hit centre stage, until then please enjoy the music and tell your friends you beautiful beings.
Songs on here are taken from the forthcoming (Brackets) EP to be released 8th September on itunes.

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!

Hi Hoodoo Fifties, thanks for continuing to be a friend of Electroflex.
Some important news!
Electroflex have been back in the studio following a break from gigging and recording with new track ‘Computer Virus’.
This is the first of a series of new releases for 2009, and what better day to start on than Liz’s Birthday!
‘Computer Virus’ is a live favourite. Anyone forced to work with computers will know how evil they are and this track is Electroflex’s response to Kraftwerk’s ‘Its More Fun to Compute’. It is a bouncy number with a serious bassline, sing-along chorus and a selection of curious samples.
The track will only be up on Myspace in full for a short time. Alternatively, visit our Facebook and iLike pages where you can add the song to you playlists

A currently shite MySpace page for Midlands bands only.
The point is to use this page to advertise your gigs, wears and to keep in touch with other likeminded bands in the area without feeling like a complete arse for filling fan pages with junk mail. You know who you are!.
Promotions companies may also join so that if they're looking for bands to play a venue in the Midlands, all they have to do is visit this page for local bands to choose from and they have a full spectrum of sounds.
So if you're a new, up and coming talent in the midlands, whether you're a generic Indie band or Cock Rock band get your name down on the list!!!!!
Even though you can't play, cme along! £3 entrance (free to you guys), doors at 8:30. If you haven’t been there before it’s right next to the Alex Theatre on Suffolk St.
