Once aboard the craft, Adam was stripped naked and forced to explain the origins of American popular song to their Cultural Minister, Vortek Oon Guabbious. XXVII. Afterwards, Adam was made to sing the duet Up Where We Belong with Vortek, while the whole crew watched. As a result of this traumatic experience, Adam formed the band Hookers & Blow as a means of reclaiming the rich legacy of America popular song, a legacy that had become tainted in his mind; soiled by an unwelcome probe administered by soulless, hairless, tone deaf beings.
While Hookers & Blow started as a pitiful cry for help, the weekly therapy session at Glueks gradually gained momentum, eventually evolving into the full-fledged howl of resistance, strength, and self-wellness management that resonates today.

So I find out last week from a random (and kind) bar patron that recognized me from several a H&B show that Glueks is no longer happening. Great timing, as I no longer work Thursday nights at GB's as of this month.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the Grand Finale at Glueks (Lenny Kravitz concert happened to be on the same night and I was actually contemplating not going and heading down to see you guys). Where's the new house gig? Please tell me you have a new house gig.
