About me:
Me, I'm into photography. Musicians and artists are my kind of people. I'm not a musician, but I own a parlor guitar (Art & Lutherie) and I apparently have quite a bit of natural talent at making the guitar sound like a sick cat. I would like to learn to make it sound like guitar, but I hear that is an acquired skill.
I've travelled in Europe and I speak French (kind of), as well as a smattering of German and Russian. I've visited Poland, Romania, England, Italy and I lived in Paris for a year and (as usual) had to leave right when I was finally meeting people with whom I had stuff in common.
I have both a professional and personal website which you can check out if you want to see what I'm really like. It is www.hooliator.net and it's a pretty honest representation of my personality.
I prefer to ride my bicycle rather than drive my car. My bike is a vintage English 3-speed made in England by Raleigh, as opposed to one made in China by a third party on contract for Raleigh. When I bought it I thought I was just getting an old junker. But now I see it very differently. I also clean my bicyle on a regular basis, which is something that can't be said about my car.

Who I'd like to meet:
I would like to meet people who have integrity. I would like to be surrounded by people who keep their promises/commitments and who hold themselves accountable for their own actions or inactions. This way of being really isn't as difficult some people make it out to be. All it takes is a little forethought and a tiny bit of personal resolve. Most people are capable of doing it, but many choose not to.
I don't date. Or rather I don't compromise my principals for the sake of being in a relationship. I insist that any woman I am seeing have a high degree of integrity. And in general I find that people in California have very little integrity around relationships. I feel that finding a partner with integrity in the "Me First" state is rather like searching for a piece of fine china on a cattle ranch. That is to say, I would like to find a piece of fine china, but all I ever seem to find is a bunch of bull.
I would love to meet an intelligent, attractive woman, who has integrity around her relationships. I met a lot of them while I was living in Paris. They were usually from Austria or Norway.
