There was a time when beer cans had pull tabs and you'd drop the tab down in the can and then drink the beer. When a man could be a man and all the women looked like they just stepped out of a pin-up magazine. Kids drank grape Nehi, not gin and juice. A time when hotrods ruled the streets. You could get into a bar fight without the cops getting involved...the loser bought the next round. Teachers still had paddles and parents used switches from that willow tree in the front yard. A time when rock and roll was about rebellion and the corporations wanted nothing to do with it because the people that played it were nothing but misfits and miscreants. It was the work of the Devil! A time when you'd save all your lunch money for an entire week just so you could go see your favorite band play, and still have enough money left over to buy the t-shirt!!!
Hooligan Street is pure rock and roll. It's an attitude from a bygone era. An attitude that was born on the back streets of New York City, tossed around like a cheap whore in the back alleys of Hollywood, and refined on every street corner of every backwoods town along Route 66. It's fueled by fast cars, faster women, Hustler magazine, and beer and whisky. It's about that feeling you get when you're cruisin' the strip and your favorite song comes on the radio. So you reach over and crank it as loud as it'll go and roll down the windows so everyone can hear...never mind that's in only 20 degrees outside, it's all about attitude! This is rock and roll, people. This is what it's all about. This is how we live. This is why we fight.
